Directions on the park

As you enter Granta Park, please ensure you are in the right hand lane. Inform security that you are here to visit the Granta Centre. Turn right at the roundabout and follow the road, turn left at the second roundabout. At the end of the road, turn left and park in any of the spaces available. For additional parking, please use our multi-storey car park.

From the west and north

Join the M11 southbound from A428 (Bedford), A603 (Sandy) or A14 (Peterborough) and leave at Junction 10, turning left to the A505.

From the east

From the A14 take the A11. Leave at the Haverhill junction.

From the south via the A1 (West London)

Leave the A1 at Baldock and take the A505 eastbound towards Royston.

From the south via the M11 (East London)

Leave M11 at Junction 9 and take the A11. Take the A1307 slip road to Haverhill and turn right at the roundabout.

Public Bus

TWI is accessible using the 13 or 13A bus route between Cambridge Drummer Street bus station and Haverhill – the full time table is available here. Please note the X13 is direct and does not stop in the village. The bus stop nearest to Cambridge railway station is the Botanic Gardens, Hills Road.  

The bus stop in Great Abington is near the primary school with TWI a further 15 minutes’ walk ( see route). It is important to let your host know that you will be coming this way as you will need to pass through a security gate – please confirm the gate code with the host prior to travel.

Audley End (London - Liverpool Street) approximately 10 miles/16 km

Whittlesford Parkway (London – Liverpool Street) approximately 2 miles/3 km

There are numerous bike racks and showers available. Granta Park is also connected to Whittlesford Parkway rail station via a cycle route - about 2 miles
